    Matt is a manager on the sales and business development team at Axial, leading its efforts to help private company owners and operators use Axial to grow, finance, or sell their businesses. Matt is responsible for the growth and overall success of Axial’s membership of private companies, with over 50 CEOs and business owners joining Axial weekly to find qualified advisors, investors, lenders, and buyers. Matt previously led the team at Axial responsible for helping M&A advisors and intermediaries use Axial to close deals more successfully.

    Prior to Axial, Matt worked in the Trading and Markets Division of the US Securities and Exchange Commission and at World Class Capital Group, an Austin-based real estate investment firm.

    Matt graduated from Duke University School of Law with a J.D. and Texas A&M University with a BBA in Finance, and is a licensed New York State attorney.  Outside interests include football, music, American politics and traveling.

    John McKee is a Managing Director at PWP Growth Equity, a $600M private equity fund focused on both minority and control investments in the consumer/retail, services, and industrial sectors. PWP Growth Equity is a management-centric firm that is focused on developing and executing on a shared vision with management teams in privately-held or family-held businesses.

    Prior to joining PWP Growth Equity, John was a Partner at Weston Presidio, a $1B private equity fund focused on growth investments in the middle market. Before joining Weston Presidio, John was an Associate with Greenbriar Equity Group, a $600M private equity fund focused on the transportation sector. John also worked as an Associate with Compass Partners International, a boutique merger and acquisition advisory firm.

    John received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago.

    André Augier is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Quarton Partners. Mr. Augier has over 28 years of investment banking experience advising public and private corporations, private equity firms, hedge funds and pension funds. Mr. Augier has extensive experience in industrial M&A transactions, cross border transactions, capital raises, fairness opinions, public to private transactions, and balance sheet restructuring.

    Prior to forming Quarton Partners, Mr. Augier was a Co-Founder and Managing Director at W.Y. Campbell & Company where he led the execution of over 250 transactions over a span of 22 years. Mr. Augier was previously a Vice President in Fahnestock & Co.’s Corporate Finance Group, where he worked on a variety of M&A transactions, public bond issues, initial public offerings and leveraged finance transactions. 

    Mr. Augier received his B.A. in Finance at Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business, and his Masters of Science in Finance with Honors from Walsh College.

    Scott Silverman is a Managing Director with Scott-Macon leading its consumer products and retail group. Scott brings over 20 years of investment banking experience, 15 of which have been focused in the consumer products and retail industry sectors.

    Prior to Scott-Macon, Scott was the Head of Consumer Products and Retail Investment Banking at the Westbury Group. Prior to Westbury, he was Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Conway, Del Genio, Gries & Co., LLC where he worked for almost ten years. His early career included mergers and acquisitions experience at Credit Suisse First Boston and Ernst & Young in New York. Scott began his career living in Moscow, Russia for three years, working with Chilewich International Corporation and then Ernst & Young CIS Corporate Finance. 

    Scott has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, domestic and international financings, recapitalizations, bankruptcies, valuations, and financial advisory services.

    Scott attended Brown University (B.A. History) and the London School of Economics and Political Science (Diploma, Business Studies).

    Peter Rothschild

    Peter Rothschild has been in investment and merchant banking for over 30 years, during which time he has been engaged in over 100 transactions including M&A, capital raising, restructuring, corporate advisory work, and principal investing. Mr. Rothschild’s industry experience includes industrial companies (aerospace, apparel, automotive, building products, chemicals, manufacturing/distribution, energy, paper, packaging, and textiles), and service companies (consumer, restaurants, and financial services).

    Prior to founding Daroth Capital, Mr. Rothschild was Co-Head of the Leveraged Finance and Industrial Finance groups at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. Mr. Rothschild was a Senior Managing Director and Head of the Natural Resources Group at Bear Stearns prior to Wasserstein, and was also a Managing Director and Head of the Industrial Group at Drexel Burnham Lambert. Mr. Rothschild currently serves as a director on the board of The Wendy's Company (NasdaqGS: WEN).

    Mr. Rothschild graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and received his MBA from Harvard Business School
