EO Philadelphia's First Dine Around

  • Farmer's Daughter 1401 Morris Rd Blue Bell, PA, 19422 United States (map)
Two weeks ago EO Philadelphia hosted its first dine around event, 32 members and spouses attended. From the event ratings it was a stellar success. The attendees were divided into three groups of members and spouses that didn’t know each other at all, or didn’t know each other well. During the catered dinner at Nate Kukla’s, Sue Meitner’s and Ted McLaughlin’s house, the attendee’s participated in a couple of exercises: ‘Two Truth’s and a Lie’ and ‘If You Really Knew Me’. What made the event special was learning so much more about fellow members and spouses than I expected, or ever would have learned at a typical dinner or cocktail party. I walked away from the dinner w the foundation in place for many new friendships. I would highly recommend EO PHL do dine around’s in the future. Melissa and I would like to have the same experience w other members of our Chapter.

Be one of the first to experience EO Philadelphia's first DINE AROUND event. Dine around's are very highly rated events at many other chapters.

Our dine around will begin at the Farmer's Daughter restaurant in Blue Bell (http://normandyfarm.com/eat/the-farmers-daughter). Arrive any time prior to 6pm for a relaxing drink.

At 6pm our party bus will depart for Ted McLaughlin's home for cocktails and light fare. Around 7pm the party bus will take you to one of four of our member's homes where you will enjoy dinner - prepared and served by a private chef and server. You will be randomly selected which home you will go to. We want you to enjoy dinner with members and spouses you don't know, or don't know well. We'll do our best to separate Forum members. Be prepared...over dinner you will do a fun exercise so you learn 'secrets' about your dinner mates. The idea behind the dine around is that we all leave having made new friendships.

Around 10pm the party bus will make the rounds and deliver everyone back to the Farmer's Daughter for drinks and mingling.
